With the proper structure set up. A skate soccer association, regular webcast games, a website with player bios and stats.
I’d volunteer to make some of it happen — I could write press releases, bios, books, fundraising materials. But someone else would have to get the project started and set up properly.

Amazing how we as women can judge our appearances much more harshly than others do.

Men are so confident… and cocky (really, no pun intended)
Not all men are like JFK, oh Generalizing One.
Um…..not that I would think JFK was REALLY that confident, eh? But cocky? Yeah, that he was. Good with words too. Great in selling stuff to the people, making them feel good. But words are rarely enough.
For more or less obvious reasons, most individuals thought to belong to the male gender I encounter(ed) are (were) constantly busy presenting themselves to the outside world as confident mega machos (and stuff like that) while inside they’re more like frightened children wanting their mommy taking care of them. But sure enough, they’re telling their enormous fish stories wherever and whenever possible. Of course without ever having caught one of reasonable size.
Bringing them into a careful constructed situation/environment though, can make them open up and able to show the core of their personality. Sometimes that’s like opening Pandora’s Box, most of the times it’s utterly boring/cliché, and sometimes times it’s a stinky sewer.

I like being a peon because the responsibilities are less. Once in the public eye, I don’t like the idea of doing things for the sole purpose of pleasing others in attempts to achieve my goals. That is not challenging, it is just hypocrisy and cowardice.
I do like the challenge of finding MY balance, not worrying about the impropriety of my actions or words which I desire to reflect me as a member of society rather than what I perceive society wants me to be.
No one is perfect and we each have our skeletons.
