Polio: Should We Be Concerned?

Stockpiles of chemical weapons in Syria in the midst of civil unrest and outbreaks of poliomyelitis, raise concerns of not only importation of the poliovirus in Europe, the US and other Nations previous eradicated but also of biological terrorism. Can poliovirus be used as a biological weapon of terror? Yes, I think so…
