The old year ended, Happy New Year of 2014. Farewell 2013!

With each New Year comes resolutions of positive changes. This year rather than make a list based on my screw-ups, my list is based on wisdom generated by quotes. The above MLK quotes will be my roadmap for 2014.

Quotes are powerful! Having been a beacon and guiding light growing up, they now provide solace, inspiration and desires to return to basics, return to a time of naïveté– my belief that a mind is truly a terrible thing to waste.

A thick fog, reminiscent of creeping fear when reading frightening tales about werewolves engulfed my world–blinding, whispering incomprehensible incoherent taunting jeers –unremitting, frustrating and eerily powerful. Feeling trapped, I succumbed. Traveling to my soul where the air is clean and without fog, strong melodic voices from this fog reached out, engaged me in the beauty, challenges and adventures of this screwed up world. It was then the words of MLK reminded me of the importance of doing my part, yes,  in this screwed up world.

Inspired my some of the greatest leaders, My Resolution for the New Year is to live, enjoy and transfer energy…
