Three young black males found hanging from trees; Kody was hung in front of his white girlfriend’s house. He called his mother to pick him up; his mother found him dead hanging from a tree in front of his white girlfriend’s house. Roy Veal was found hanging from tree with a pillow over his head. His death deemed suicide by the medical examiner. Reynard was hung with someone else’s belt and his death was ruled suicide. He was involved with a white girl. Makes me wonder: Should we separate the races? Forget diversity live within our own groups.

Sad so many young black male lives lost because of unsubstantiated accusations of a white person. There is no justice for POC, and now I have my doubts about integration of the races. My advice to black males is to stay away from white girls, avoid white neighborhoods….and TuftsMedical Center. In addition, record everything you do with a white person (legally you should let the person know she is being recorded). Rememberanything a white person says is considered fact. It does not matter if that person is a known liar or convicted felon. They are white and, therefore, right…only in America.

Roy Veal was found hanging in Woodville, Mississippi in 2004. he originally lived in Seattle and went to his mother’s home in Woodville to help her fight for the rights to their family land against a white man. Oil had been found underneath the land. Roy’s head was covered with a pillow case and burned papers of the documented proof he had to prove his mothers’ ownership were found burned at his feet. He was later found hanging from a tree. His death was ruled a suicide. His family is still trying to get attention for the case Reynard Johnson, 17, was found hanging from a tree on his front lawn on June 16, 2000 in Kokomo, Mississippi. His death was ruled a suicide even though the belt around his neck was not his. Authorities said since no hate group left a message by the body, there was nothing to investigate. Family members said the motive was his relationship with a white girl, he was constantly being harassed because of this.

Does not seem there will be vengeance. Disturbing to think about modern day lynchings attributed to suicide. Claire, did you know him?
No Angela, I did not know any of the young men mentioned in the post. I picked Kody’s name to say every day as a way of standing against the anonymity to which white society has assigned him – and the thousands like him. Of course, I know of the huge hole his, and their absence has created in the lives of their families and those who loved them. I just wanted to claim a greater loss on the part of the whole world as well. I can’t say every name every day – so I picked Mr. Ingham. I want each of these losses to be viewed as if a star fell from the sky.
I do believe in revolution. Perhaps vengeance is not the most productive motive – perhaps I didn’t quite mean that. I don’t know: I just wrote a poem of grief and rage/ Maybe it IS a declaration of war….
I don’t want to confuse people, though. Do you think I should take the poem down?

Claire, so many of these decent young men lives are prematurely terminated because of the unsubstantiated accusations of a white person. Vengeance is a difficult word to utter but Karma is somewhat like vengeance and is a bitch.
Can the few run this country without the remaining 99%? No they cannot so those elites have to find ways to keep folks in fear of each other.
Black males are easy target for the police who lie and /or murder innocent black people, meantime, our medical delivery system works on the reminder of the black population by discriminating and providing poor medical care.
