#myNYPD Campaign Inspires Global Awareness Of Police Brutality

April 24, 2014- As reported on April 22nd, NYPD News had asked Twitter followers to share photos of themselves with the NYPD accompanied by the hashtag #myNYPD. This request resulted in a public relations nightmare for the department, as Twitter became filled with different images of the NYPD engaged in police brutality.

 

 

These images are a glimpse of  police brutality and criminality against the very citizens and people police are paid to protect.  Clearly, the police are not our friends nor is their job to serve and protect the public. The latter is a myth of gigantic proportion–a real fallacy!

The police are a big problem, some would say a menace to society.  What are we to do about them?   The police serve the elite and in return for their service to the elite, they brutalize communities with impunity.  What can we do about police brutality and dishonest courts?
