Following the Soul

Following the Soul

Each day, I find myself walking away yet nothing changes. I wonder: What do I seek? Where am I going? Am I afraid?… What am I walking away from and why now?

Then I stumbled upon  this quote by Rumi:

All day I think about it, then at night I say it. Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing? I have no idea. My soul is from elsewhere, I’m sure of that, and I intend to end up there. #quotes

Following my soul….wherever it leads that is where I will go…

  1. Ah, good old Rumi, a.k.a. مولوی. Little did he know that so called Master, always seeking to connect with the alleged divine, and thus celebrated and adored by the ignorant and lazy herd. Try Krishnamurti for a change:

    1) “To seek is to deny the truth that’s right in front of you.”

    2) “Not to seek is to find; and the finding is not in the future – it is there, where you don’t look.”

  2. What is needed, rather than running away or controlling or suppressing or any other resistance, is understanding fear; that means, watch it, learn about it, come directly into contact with it. We are to learn about fear, not how to escape from it. Krishnamurti

    1. Just like all the other “things” demonized by people who are shitting their pants and panties due to blindly following the “teachings” of their icons and the ones that stumbled around on the planet before them, fear was always my soulmate,

        1. It’s only wise when seen against lame stories like The Fall a.k.a. the Original Sin and what came from same. We from the Other People are not plagued by that and take life and all that comes with it not too seriously, while simultaneously acknowledging that the “negative” belongs to it as well. Remember when I wrote: Once you’re in a depression, try to enjoy the damned thing, instead of suffering from it? Stuff like that, babe.

          1. I protect my anger because I rather enjoy it…. and I resent when denied my anger. That is my story.

Since my father’s death (I was 9) the world seemed slippery. Every time I thought I stood n solid ground the rug was pulled right from under me, and I landed usually hard on my ass.

The thundering dark clouds surrounded me, blocking any light. I grew up with those clouds. Wasn’t until about 10 years ago that I recognized expecting the dark clouds created them Gradually the clouds dissipated as I no longer thought about them.

Interesting, The light was clear and the path paved but I become accustomed to dark thundering clouds and eventually returned to somber dreary days under dark thundering clouds.

            1. Solid ground? In case you didn’t know yet, the planet is moving all the time. And I’m not talking about its walk around our star 😉

No clouds, no rain, no life.
