United States Citizens Justice Database
11/10/14 Update: My apology for not keeping up to date or keeping you informed about the database. I find it very difficult to watch the violent videos and to read about the injustices. Unfortunately, Excessive force leading to police brutality that often result in death or imprisonment of black young men as well as forfeiture of legal personal property are getting worse as incentives to shake Americans down grow through LAWS.
My admiration for the courage and persistence of the Ferguson community, still protesting and demanding justice for Michael Brown. Preparations by Governor Jay Nixon and President Obama suggest the grand jury has taken on an interesting role in determining guilt rather than probable cause in cases of police brutality.
In all likelihood the grand jury will determine, veteran police officer, Darren Wilson, was justified in shooting to kill 17-18 year old UNARMED #MikeBrown while he surrendered based on evidence gathered from police internal investigation. Justice in America is non-existent.
Time to plan for 2016 election…Time to remove politicians like Governor Jay Nixon. Time to end Jay Nixon ‘s and the mayor of Ferguson’s political career permanently. Time to exposure these politicians and their supporters. Time to track them in a database. Time for new candidates.
Today, we rely heavily on data to make important personal, national, and global decisions. Data without context is subject to interpretation, called bias. Data without context is sterile and is responsible for many false policies, confusion, and mis-categorization.
Context is provided daily through social media.
This campaign aims to fund the creation of a relational database that will index tables with multimedia as an initial step in the process of creating a relational database with the capacity to combine context of victims’ input and stories.

The goal is to create a relational database that captures big data and allows victims and eyewitnesses to create multimedia sites as well as assist ongoing tracking of injustices.
(By the way, phone videos appear to be a great at capturing context and adding transparency.)
The prevalent belief are:
1. Black people and people with disabilities are more violent than other groups, as evidenced by the high-incarceration rate compared to whites and people without disabilities. Blacks are seven to eight times more likely to be arrested or incarcerated as opposed to whites. People with disabilities are three times more likely to be incarcerated than people without disabilities.
2. Police are models of trust and integrity and can be relied upon to serve and protect.
3. Judges are fair and represent justice. Their decisions are objective and motivated by the rule of law.
4. Private prisons are good businesses and help keep our streets and society safe.
If the above statements are correct, combining context with arrests information and big data should reveal these abnormally high incarceration rates and disparities which are warranted and lawful. If not our policies and our beliefs may be faulty and need to change.
The following brief compilation of news stories illustrating injustices in the United States compiled on my blog suggest otherwise.
In addition, there is increasing data to suggest racial profiling and discrimination justified #policebrutality #policeviolence, as well as affluenza.
Finally, there is strong evidence that corruption and lucrative incentives to imprison targeted ethnic groups and people with mental and developmental disabilities are becoming an increasing problem.
Observations of Disparities in Justice:
- Black people assumed guilty until proven otherwise.
- Sparse coverage amounts to a gag order and no voice–it did not happen.
- Few incidents of police brutality involving white males–disparity in police violence and brutality.
- Racial profiling = any person of color #POC–key factor in the disparity linked to police violence and brutality
- What alternatives to prisons exist for young white males? Maybe paradigm
- Affluenza can be used for anyone where prison environment is toxic and the person vital to the community. All humans are vital to the community and have equal rights under the law. Why is this defense not used by people of color, particularly for children and those with mental illnesses and veterans?
- Affluenza sets a precedent that can be used by anyone?
- Why are black men naked when they are found dead in prison? Police and correctional officers have a fetish for the black male genitals.
- NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo and a few fellow NYPD officers played with and looked at the genitals of black youths and men. This attraction and lust may explain Eric Garner’s frustration at being harassed and sexually assaulted by NYPD. I do not think I would share such experiences with anyone.
- The Criminal Justice System perpetrated the cycle of poverty by disrupting families and created single black female households by wrongful and unlawful imprisonments.
MoreObservations:
- Stereotypes of violent black males are inaccurate and reflect projections of insider groups. The overwhelming majority of arrests were for victimless crimes or minor infractions, committed daily by non-targeted Americans, such as smoking pot or not paying a fine without police harassment and imprisonment.
- One cannot investigate oneself, and, therefore, law enforcement should not be above the law and given that privilege. In contrast to the number of complaints with solid evidence and valid instances of police violence and murder of innocent Americans, the number of reprimands, resignations, and imprisonment of police officers were negligible.
- Police Officers should be required to wear video recording devices [ Active Petition]
- Police departments do little outreach to communities served, and officers are not trained in conflict resolution except to fire their guns. Consequently, police officers have not developed trusting relationships with the communities they swore to serve and protect.
- Police officers are becoming entities of fear to targeted communities. A burgeoning adaptive problem became mammoth as police officers’ impenitence leads to further inhumane actions that disrupt the lives of families and friends.
- The Criminal Justice System is a mega multi-billion dollar industry that is growing and very profitable; companies in these industries are common household names, but they deliver inferior or no service at premium cost to Americans.
- A major problem noted today (8-11-14) is how will a database pulling articles or data about arrests and violence distinguish fact from fiction?
Justice in America pulls news stories based on my filters, similar to a Google search or database. Today, it pulled posts and articles about the dead baby and even a follow-up stating that all charges were dismissed against the cop, yet it did not pull the IBT article or others stating the hoax. It is a database anomaly that will need some thought.

Last month, a veteran U.S. Marine “basically baked to death” in a New York City jail after a malfunctioning heating system caused the temperature in his cell to exceed 100 degrees. Jerome Murdough was being held not because he was convicted of a crime or because he had a violent criminal history that made him a risk to the public. The publisher of National Report, who allegedly uses the name “Allen Montgomery,” spoke with the Casper Star-Tribune last year about his site posting a fake article about RFID chips being implanted in Wyoming residents. ”We have been targeting Tea Party types recently as they are the most gullible and are willing to spread misinformation across the internet with little/no research,” he told the Casper Star-Tribune.
Unfortunately, for police brutality we, ordinary Americans, rely on honesty and integrity of other online news sources in reporting facts and not fabrication. The National Report does more harm to our cause than any riot that have occurred thus far by creating doubt around real tragedies.
The National Report is not well known, at least, not by this blogger. I will not read any further articles. At least TheNewsNerd warns upfront.

You have a good point. They are in plain sight cloaked by masks of so called “justice” I believe a people’s database will not only reveal issues and strengths but also reveal etiologies of police brutality and police harassment and provide blueprints to customize remedies based on etiology.
Transparency is key…..clearly not everything can be transparent but the database will have an infrastructure protected from abuse….and hackers. Currently, our government create systems ( programs) without considering appropriate metrics, fraud and enforcement. My ultimate goal is to create systems that work for people.
This database is an important start to bring awareness to issues of social justice and human rights. Our government imprisons innocent Americans for profit to a thriving and robust prison industry. Why? Because our government values big businesses over ordinary Americans.
I would like to comment on your question #125 A Guide to Disability Rights Laws.
In 2010 Alberta Health Services (Canada) took over the role over Correction Services because it was determined that guards are truly not suited to help the mentally ill in jail. At the end of their sentences they were actually entering back into society worse than they came in. Now an average 450 inmates per month are being directed to Physiologist for treatment instead. Why, because the right people are on the job to determine status of the inmates. The benefits for this are remarkable.
Police are being used to incarcerate these individuals for little or no reason, its simple too. Its the general public view that they shouldn’t be around them. The claim would be that they don’t fit into the mainstream of (normal). Most are low risk offenders and not a danger to the surrounding populations. There is great costs to taxpayers for the unnecessary action for a jail to become their home because they may not be able to pay a fine and jail time is how its paid off or other.
Prisons are filled with people that shouldn’t really be there. If your coming out on the bottom instead of the top, it will hurt all of us all, in time.
I like the idea of getting real mental help and avoid the costs of incarceration to society, tax payers, families and patients with mental illness. Rather than create criminals we help people live life safely and productively.
This is quite the project you’ve taken to collect all of these instances here in one page. Really disgusts me to see what cruel tyrants patrol the streets in this country and are tasked with carrying out “justice” as they see fit.
