Police Harassment and Police Brutality Cause Community Mistrust. The reporter in the video has no clue.
The reason for the resentment and hatred of cops and law enforcement has nothing to do with young black men growing up without a father. It has everything to do with racial profiling, police violence and police brutality with impunity on communities of color.
Do cops think they can terrorize, pillage and rape communities and expect trust in return?
Police stereotyped young black males by creating stories (LIES) that were instantly accepted as fact. Daily, cops committed fraud by arresting innocent young black males and in many instances, police officers murdered innocent young black males in plain sight with total disregard of evidence from the community. Police reports and courts do not require evidence just the words of the arresting officers on paper and a variation of this story:
police lieutenant fatally shot a black ninth-grader. The officer said the black male had a knife and was lunging at the officer.
I understood that woman’s point of view…my personal experience confirmed and I am empathetic to all sides.
As the woman said, Everyone was concerned about the cop. What about the real victim? Does anyone consider the torture the police and legal system have inflicted on communities of color? The reason for the deep hate is universal. I am saddened for all involved.
Karma is a bitch. As unpopular as this sounds, until (as a country) cops, correctional officers, prosecutors and corrupt judges are held accountable to the law and their roles in creating crime and causing crime in the lives of children and their families they swear to serve and protect the violence will only get worse.
Cops are not my friends and I do not trust them anymore.

Police power corrupts. I have little confidence in police organizations self-regulation.
Most folks hear the word police and still think of protection; however for communities of color the police is both the enemy and the criminal.
