Commissioner Bill Bratton: Bystander Videos Constitutes Interference ???
In another report, NYPD Police Commissioner Bratton states that bystander recording of police brutality is interference.
“In what could be seen as bizarre deference to the “observer effect,”[Police Commissioner of NYPD, Bill Bratton] Bratton commented that bystanders recording brutal police behavior constitutes “interference.” “(4)
These videos suggest patterns of corruption, fraud and inhumane activities within the NYPD. How will Commissioner Bratton resolve these issues? Another pattern: police officers make laws as needed. When did our constitution change? Is it lawful for officers to deliberately lie to American citizens?
Police officers are confident in the ignorance of Americans. The fabrications, simple and unprovable, are proven strategies that get desired outcomes with the uninformed, the fearful and the targeted. Commissioner Bratton may wish to clarify his seemingly ludicrous statements when speaking to the informed. If witnesses did not bring forth videos, wouldn’t that constitute obstruction of justice, Commissioner Bratton?
Bratton should commend citizens instead of berating them for:
1. placing a high value on justice by valiantly providing evidence;
2. making NYPD jobs easier; and
3. putting their own lives at risk.
The continued harassment, the unrepentant behaviors and the lack of integrity exhibited by NYPD officers raised alarms. The high likelihood of severe retaliations with personal (NYPD) vendettas will further terrorize this community and other communities of color (as they did in the case of Calvin Bryant).
First Steps?
Videos consistently confirm a pattern of deception, abuse, and unnecessary force by the NYPD. Witness statements corroborate the videos. All the evidence shines a spotlight on decades of police violence, crimes against humanity, genocide, and corruption. #policebrutality Do something about it! Do not continue to focus on victims as if they were criminals. Do not forget the NYPD systematically and strategically created (framed) these alleged criminals and in the process destroyed their families and communities. These communities, now pools of potential targets and veteran victims, have been devastated by the rippling effect of multiple arrest and exposure to the toxic environment of prison.
Acknowledgment of a critically urgent problem is the first step to finding a solution. Control and be accountable for the actions of NYPD Police Officers. The miscarriage of justice is destroying families in communities of color, leaving many children with single black mothers. Could the structure and process of the criminal justice system explain the large number of single black mothers? Could it be responsible for the large numbers? #Injustices Out of jobs for the elite and their minions, our government creates more hardship and poverty for those barely hanging on.
In the midst of these tragedies are opportunities for meaningful change and strong leadership with a public moral imperative that no one is above the law. If we are merciful to police officers and judges and prosecutors, then be merciful to all prisoners. Free all prisoners and let’s start over.
Community: Closing Points
When I worked in the Emergency Department, police officers were unofficially part of the ED community. Police officers and investigators were husbands and wives of the staff; at night, officers stopped by for chats and laughs, and even brought donuts. Absent from all of the videos showing police brutality and violence is camaraderie or familiarity with the community.
Camaraderie is essential and pivotal to realizing healthy cultural changes on all sides. Mistrust leads to fear, the culprit responsible for the ever-growing hashtags, such as #JusticeForEricGarner, and countless loved ones feeling pain and being further marginalized by our government’s injustices.
Other relevant hashtags: #killercops, #policestate, #injustices, #policebrutality, #excessiveforce, #racialprofiling, #policeabuse, #policestate, #policestateusa, #crimesagainsthumanity, #genocide, #community.
Suggestions:
Why are NYPD officers not held to any standard, let alone a higher standard? Why are murderers allowed to be part of the NYPD? Why do tax-payers spend $168,000 to allow criminals on the police force to create crimes as well as populate prisons with innocent citizens?
The videos show a clear lack of training. The question is: what type of training?
In addition:
1. Screening potential and veteran officers who serve communities of diverse cultures to ensure positive, meaningful alliances that build trusting, collaborative partnerships. Mutually beneficial partnerships fight crime and empower communities.
2. Screening police officers for biases. Biases emerge in times of stress. This is important because biases are responsible for unnecessary force and violence, leading to enormous disparities in arrest rates, conviction rates, and incarceration rates in black and hispanic males compared to whites who commit similar minor crimes at proportionately the same or a slightly higher rates.
3. Stop obstruction of justice by police officers. Bystanders can and should record police brutality, violence, and abuse. Police Officers need incentives to create a foundation where cultures of responsibility, dedication, and service thrive.

There is an old concept running amok within the police departments in the USA. It’s old style from 50 years ago. Hiding behind your badge. They as much accountable for their actions as we are for ours. They is no interference, it’s just making sure your doing what your paid for right. Time for change is good for all. So they think they are above the law, they have another thing coming.
You see that, but many Americans don’t. Many Americans believe every single thing told or written and especially by the men in blue or for that matter any white male.
Interference suggestion are helpful…But i think American’s will not get affected by any one of them
Radical, pervasive, ubiquitous #Transparency is the foundation of preventing government overreach, abuse, and brutality. It also prevents private overreach. Our cherished notions of privacy sustain the hidden places and means of harm used so effectively by the few who do violence.
