Ramsey Orta, who filmed fatal chokehold video, indicted after unrelated gun arrest

At a hearing Friday in Stapleton Criminal Court, prosecutors announced they had filed a certificate of indictment against Orta, arising from an Aug. 2 bust in St. George.
The certificate moves the case to state Supreme Court, St. George, where Orta, 22, will be arraigned in the next week or two.
The indictment itself hasn’t been filed, so specific charges haven’t been made public, although Orta was arrested on felony charges of firearm possession and weapon possession.

And then they went and arrested dude’s wife!! WTF kind of society do we live in when the NYPD can target ppl for catching their criminal behavior on tape and get away with both their crimes and politically-motivated targeting?!!
