Police In England And Wales Went Two Years Without Fatally Shooting Someone
The Economist reported last week, in an article on armed U.S. police, that “last year, in total, British police officers actually fired their weapons three times.” The number three resonated when the private autopsy of Michael Brown, the teenager killed by Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson this month, concluded that Brown was shot at least six times. Many tweets contrasted thenumbers, saying Wilson had fired more shots at Brown than British police officers discharged in all of 2013.
There isn’t comprehensive data on the number of people police in the U.S. kill each year — although it’s almost certainly more than the oft-cited FBI figure of about 400 people. And most police homicides in the U.S. are committed with guns. Police officers in England and Wales didn’t kill anyone with a gun in the two-year period that ended March 31, 2014, after killing an average of three people each year in the prior eight years.

Well I did watch this to the very end. He was being detained until he was able to prove his identity than released, just to make sure he wasn’t the felon in this investigation. He should have just mustered up the information that was being asked from him and said sorry to that nice officer. He used the word please many times, even while putting on the handcuffs.
It is a lesson in just a little humility and the proximity of an early investigation. Watch where you poke your nose and stay out of crime scenes.
Police and ISIS the same. At times it looks like it.
If the camera guy was black…the cop would have shot at him multiple times (without discourse, discussion or questions) to ensure his death, then create a story out of the police training guide of excuses.
I agree courtesy is nice; however, cops deserve neither courtesy nor respect….they deserve ISIS.
I understand there are good cops but their silence make them bad, inhumane and cruel cops who stand by watching genocide of Black Americans, mentally ill patients and people living in poverty at the hands of their brethrens.
I’ll go with that.
If it happens in all walks of life, why not the police department too. After all you don’t want to be painted as weak, so its better just to keep your yap shut.
