Whose Freedom Does America Fight For?

This Memorial Day the question of whose freedom does America fight for is on this writer’s mind.  Being of African descent, I still fight for freedom and access despite  being a US citizen in America.

I can be killed because my color is deemed a threat to cops and many white people.  I can be murdered for legally owning a gun.  Why  don’t I have second amendment rights?  What happened to the second amendment rights of many Black men murdered because they were suspected of possessing a weapon while  posing no threat.  Is it illegal for people of color to posses weapons in America?

This Memorial Day, I am reminded that my children can die fighting in preventable and unnecessary geopolitical wars, all in the name of freedom.  A freedom that my children will never experience in the so called land of freedom called America.

This Memorial Day, please remember the innocent lives lost unnecessarily because of political and media lies intertwined with hypocrisy.  Indeed, this is a sad day!

  1. Freedom? I never saw anyone fighting for freedom, and certainly not for freedom of others. But it’s a nice excuse for whatever shitty thing one is going after.

    1. It is a nice excuse. I believe today it is national security and not so much our freedom as those of other countries i.e. Syria, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan and many others. Other countries where we created turmoil that led to war under some honorable pretext.

      1. And “National Security” only for the Power Elite´s interest. Whenever a Country is trying to free itself and to benefit from ist own recourses that is a “danger for National Secutity”, because it´s a danger for the unlimited profit greed of that very Power Elite! Cordial regards

  2. Freedom- is never free, and so, those who can fight, for those who will not or preferred not to, for these reasons. This is the essence of “Memorial day”. Which I recently learned was started by slave who fought for their freedom and by way natural order things are ours too.

      1. The Irony here is, those who Did NOT fight then are often called name such as home guards, house slaves, to current Obama,Trump etc.
That said it is important to note; those who have fought (the nanny of the maroons to the current daughters and sons) of mothers who would rather have these love-ones safely, shackles or at home in Ivy League schools. will gladly do it again knowing their actions will enable forums such as this… to quest why. Rather than honor and remember their sacrifices. As those free slaves did in the onset . (To Angela .I still love you lady of the Nile;-) Max.

  3. The wars the US are fighting is for a small number of superrich Whites, predominantly WASPs, and the number of poeple profitting from it is getting smaller and smaller. What common Whites have to learn: These brutal wars (in all their aspects, militarily, economical, cyberwise and in the way of “Bio Warfare”) will leave them in the same shit into which majority of mankind is driven. The stupids might feel “superior” but they, like all Black, Brown and Yellow People, are just like vegetables or weeds for the US Power Elite. They can only free theselves together with their Black, Brown and Yellow Brothers and sisters!

    1. The so called elites look at ordinary whites as pawns to use and exploit. And many such ordinary whites feel honored. What an upside down world we live in.

Btw, that was an interesting piece on Monsanto and Bayer. I can’t seem to comment from my phone.

      1. Totally right! & if they don´t learn to fight together with humanity they´ll find themselve as slaves too! But the media have done a lot to extract logic from too many People! Thanks for the encouraging words on my last article! Good to have such a comrade!

        1. With all our differences, Mr. Michel, I´ve to credit you for one thing: you´ve choosen your avatar very well, it fits your mentality perfectly!

          1. If that’s what you think is a fact, Herr Schlüter, I wonder about the correctness of all the other stuff you dump(ed) on the Internet. 😕 :'(

Jetzt pass mal gut auf mein Lieber: I’m not a user of WordPress. Hence I never chose that avatar. It was assigned to me. So, next time do at least part of your homework, dude, and check the facts, instead of again jumping to conclusions. XD

            1. Ok, mein Lieber, I withdraw the credit, since you didn´t choose the fitting avatar yourself! And I must state that I´ve hardly ever seen a Psychologist who´s so gladly distributing discouraging comments like you! Your respectless remarks to the author of this blog are sucking! And I´m not “dumping” stuff to the Internet but doing my homework and research very well for my articles! Have a good day!

            2. Ahem, seems gracefully admitting you made a mistake is not your thing Herr Schlüter. Instead you chose to accuse some more, as well as defending yourself. Quite fitting for what Adorno et al, already back in 1950, coined as the authoritarian personality, characterized by ego-weakness, and thus always in need of, and searching for, a scapegoat to glue his/her own shortcomings on. It’s the foundation of fascism as well as the cradle of self-proclaimed activists and other lame world healers.

            3. LOL! The one accusing and trying to ridicule others, that´s you. In Psychology that´s called a projection, if I´m right! Period!

            4. Wrong again. I’m not TRYING to ridicule others. I simply ridicule them, mock them, belittle them, and laugh at them. You belong to the elite of my chosen ones. So rejoice and move on in the march of your civilization.

And no, you are not right.

            5. So to put it straight from my side, this is the position you´re fighting so vehemently:
“The wars the US are fighting is for a small number of superrich Whites, predominantly WASPs, and the number of poeple profitting from it is getting smaller and smaller. They can only free theselves together with their Black, Brown and Yellow Brothers and sisters!”

Good to have that clear! We know now where you stand!
              Sorry, but no greetings!

            6. Hmmmm, again you’re wrong. Seems to be your position to be like that. Or is it that your self-image doesn’t allow you to admit being wrong? o_O

Anyway, since I feel for ya, lemme respond to your latest “truth”: I’m not fighting that. It’s all wishful thinking having erupted from your prefrontal brain after your paleolimbic brain gave up to direct you in the right direction.

Btw, what/who are YOU fighting? I mean apart from your online fulminations?

              Hugs <3
