Whoever is winning at the moment will always seem to be invincible. -George Orwell

They always do until time works its magic through nature or exposure.

Now, big corporations’ powerful partnerships with government including the criminal system of LEOs, prosecutors and judges seem invincible, the ultimate organized crime ring.  Emboldened by a corrupt judicial system of bias, murderers are set free to commit more crimes while victims are defamed and blamed for their deaths using government-supported mainstream media.

Seems impossible to get justice when selling 50 cent cigarettes on a street corner or stealing a can of soda is justification for a death sentence.    In seconds without evidence, cops decide who lives and who dies without regard to human rights or guilt.

Corruption is the undisputed declared winner today.  Wall Street stock markets surging to new highs as more and more groups targeted for marginalization are gunned down by cops, the media and politicians. PoC, people with mental illnesses or developmental delays, the poor and the homeless are, in plain sight, discarded in graves or prisons, whichever more profitable.

How will those marginalized groups ever defeat such power?   Greed and corruption create a culture that is unsustainable. Time and solidarity are the underdogs’ friend. What do you say?

I am a first generation Jamaican immigrant whose experiences and accomplishments were made possible by the courage, sacrifices and the heroic acts of many whose bodies have rotted away in unmarked graves. Those are my heroes. Their sacrifices and death paved the way for my children and I. Failure to Listen is a token of my eternal gratitude. Failure to Listen is a tribute those generations of unmarked graves occupied by people of all races whose ultimate sacrifice of life opened the door for me and others, THANK YOU. Failure to Listen uses cultural lenses to appreciate and understand the relationships between current events and our values, beliefs and attitudes. Culture is everything without it we are nothing. Failure to Listen will take you on a journey to recognize the beauty of our differences as the seeds to creativity, innovation and resolving disparities. By sharing my personal and professional experiences, I hope to do justice to the perspectives of those who are rarely heard or listened to. This site is not to incite anger but rather to provoke thought. It is my hope that Failure to Listen will work to foster intergroup dialogues and motivate readers to step outside the box and get to know ALL PEOPLE. In the spirit of Martin Luther King, let's join hands and remember his famous speech about a dream... A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. -Margaret Mead

  1. “What do you say?” Me? Oh well, if you insist, I’d say: Stop whining and blaming, and start working on a system without governments.

First step? Educate “we the people” that they don’t need governments, as governments only mess things up, never work for “we the people” but only for “ze elite”, and that “we the people” should stop voting for any position related to same.

Won’t be an easy job, but just picture it: Nobody is going to register. Nobody is showing up on election day. Wouldn’t that be great?

Note: 40% of eligible American voters didn’t vote in 2016. That’s close to 90 million people. Mobilize those for your campaign.

      1. Governments all over the world have proven they’re great at creating conflicts, not resolving them. Time to admit this, and not time and again hoping…….oh, but this time it will be better. Because it won’t!

Personally I prefer to walk barefoot, instead of letting my old shoes make me stumble over and over again, and finally make me a cripple.

          1. Isn’t that peculiar, that video was published at least 2 months ago and has at least 90 views including views from Fl. where it was viewed on a tablet. It works here so do you think I am being manipulated? There is no copyright notice on it, have written permission from the artist himself and the e-mails to back that up. Giggles!
