Louisiana Teen Brags and Laughs About Running Over and Killing Black Man

RIP Sherell Lewis

It’s disturbing that traditional media do not cover these acts of violence. The police said a white man bragging about running over and killing “some ni****r” on Snapchat is not a crime. Didn’t Matthew W. Martin, of Hineston, commit a crime when he ran over Sherell Lewis then left the crime scene? Isn’t that a crime? Matthew Martin knew he killed a man and went on Snapchat to brag about it yet the cops felt that no crime was committed. A man is dead, and another man is bragging about killing him, why isn’t that a crime worth investigating? Why wasn’t it worth traditional media coverage?

RIP Sherell Lewis

  1. Dreadful! And made worse that he was a beautiful young man who was consciencious aswell.

It is nothing short of a national scandal that this evil act isn’t on the mainstream news. This is again why the United States needs an alternative news channel for collating/curating/reporting/archiving all known murders of PoC by White Nationalists/Supremacists, for there is clear domestic terrorism in your country.

Then, maybe, the United Nations might recognise there is a race war in America and deal with it as they can.

Angela, I will message you more about this idea….

    1. This is so wrong and in my mind unconstitutional. How can it be over? How can a person kill another then brag on social media about the murder and be cleared of all wrong-doing? Makes no sense!

If this was a white man killed in a hit and run by a black man would there be no charges? What about if the black man bragged on social media about killing a cracker would he be cleared of wrong doing?

          1. I haven’t read anything about it being challenged but i can’t imagine there isn’t someone who would want to challenge it. I’m sure the family is dealing with this in their own way and maybe for them it is too painful to believe it could have been murder.

  2. Yes, no surprise there! Very rarely do we see justice, and my being no longer believing in Heaven & Hell, makes it even more difficult to come to terms with such evil.

To Andreas, if you haven’t yet seen Caleb’s blog, I do strongly recommend it. Just reading about the Vietnam War post is enough to make me feel beyond cynical.

To end positively, what a high degree of blogging we have here with Angela and her followers. A hotbed of activism.

    1. UShypocrisy.com is great blog about social justice and the US criminal system that’s euphemistically called justice.

I’m pleased with the community Failuretolisten is attracting. A hotbed of activism, I like that.

    1. And no charges! It was a hit and run where the white man when on social media to brag about killing a nigger. My youngest brother was killed in a hit and run so that case brought back memories.
