Happy New Year! Let’s hope for peace and not the beginning of a new World War.
Trump solved one problem–no Hillary Clinton– and created a ton more that made every American a target. In less than one term, Trump put America’s democracy under attack!
I found a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr. It’s appropriate for the time we find ourselves.
All progress is precarious, and the solution of one problem brings us face to face with another problem. -MLK
Donald Trump’s election solved a problem for many tired of liberal antics. Frustrated white nationalists found their great white hope. His presidency safely embedded them in positions of power in the US government. Today, Americans face a profound crisis that questions our values and who we are as Americans.
What will Americans do?
- Will a Republican Congress and biased Supreme Court continue to provide cover for Trump’s abuse of power–abuse that extends to sovereign nations?
- Can Donald Trump assassinate diplomatic officials to help his re-election campaign?
- Can Donald Trump do whatever he wants because he is #POTUS?
Republicans in Congress say, ‘YES, he can!’
Some Trump supporters plan to use fear to help Trump get re-elected. These supporters stockpiled weapons for a race war and domestic terrorism. Non-Trump Americans have renewed their passports and plan to leave the country. Black Americans are undecided. I think we should be given asylum around the world as we are severely persecuted in America.
