Exercise: Did It!

✅Did it! Day 1 of getting back on the exercise wagon. Today, I overcame the gloomy weather but struggled with the fear of Covid. The gym was not empty and when more people arrived I thought about leaving but someone else did. I tolerated a mask for the first 20 minutes.

Today was a smorgasbord of exercises. The treadmills were occupied but the weight station was empty. Started with a warm up then squats, lunges and wide-stance squats times 3 sets. Followed by 2 sets of upper arm work out of mainly biceps, triceps and deltoids. The finale was 35+ minutes on the treadmill. Played with the incline to vary the intensity.

My exercise goal for the winter is safety. That means social distance, wiping down gym equipment and flexibility in wearing a mask. Perhaps, exercising less on some days and more on others.
