Exercise: Did It!

Did it! I went to the gym and walked on the treadmill. I ran, walked, and worked the incline for over 50 minutes.

Pre-exercise BP 124/98 HR 69; Post-exercise BP 112/91 HR 80
Average HR 122; Maximum HR 147

My diastolic blood pressure continues to run high. Even though I feel fine, it’s doing damage to my cardiovascular system. Tonight I’ll increase the dose of the blood pressure medications and monitor my diet more closely. Yesterday, I had take out–ribs, fried pickles, and french fries. In the past, I was on higher doses of antihypertensive medications before my blood pressure dropped below 80/60, and I felt dizzy. I’ll continue to monitor.

I did my exercise. What exercise did you do today?
