Technology giants appear to have reached an agreement to hold Trump accountable for his comments. They have silenced Trump and banned him from their platforms. They should have done it sooner. However, it’s never too late to do the right thing.
From Twitter to FB and now YouTube, we see the power of social media giants. They have silenced Trump’s primary means of disseminating lies that spur violence among his supporters. Many of whom have already been banned from these platforms and have switched to Parler. Trump joined them only to find Parler strangled with the site down after Amazon refused to host the platform, and Apple and Google removed the Parler app from their app stores.
I’m sure Trump and his white supremacist domestic terrorist supporters will find other ways to assemble and plan the destruction of America, but that will take time. For now, most Americans are concerned about the safety of the inauguration, our Congress, and our state legislators.

Thank you, Bob. I was watching the impeachment but I can’t stand to listen to Republicans use Biden’s unity nonsense to oppose impeaching Trump. It’s stunning to hear them lie with such bravado.
