Exercise: Did It!

Did it! I walked almost 5 miles, and it felt great. I tried a different route today. It was flat, but the roads were busy, and some had barely a shoulder to walk on. My eyes focused on oncoming traffic. The walk felt longer than it was.

Pre-exercise BP 123/90 HR 66; post-exercise BP 121/90 HR 90
Average HR 120; maximum HR 149. I was in zone 2 or 3 88% of the walk.

Feels good to have exercise out of the way though I will do abdominals later. What do you do when you gotta go and there is no bathroom around? I held it.

What exercise did you do today?

  1. Be careful out there Angela! Small can of mace or compact stun gun, be prepare!

    1. Rudy, I was thinking about that on the walk. There was traffic but no one out. I think my phone is the greatest protection. But I have mace and use to have a bunch of stun guns.

It’s sad but I planned out what to do if a white person tried to run me over. I love walking and jogging outside. I am not gonna let them take that away from me too. What’s the point of life? To be a spectator or a victim of their cruelty. That’s not the life I want.

    2. I walk at different times and have different routes. If I see a white man or boy, I walk on the opposite side, no matter how friendly or disarming they appear to be. I make sure they know I see them and I am watching. Finally, I smile no matter how I feel inside.

    1. Hey, Curtis. Any day outside exercising is a wonderful day. Covid made me gain weight and now it’s making me appreciate exercise. I wasn’t always that excited about it.
