Exercise: Did It!

Did it! I ran a 5k two days in a row. It felt great. As usual, I paced myself to my heart rate. It’s frustrating when I feel like I want to go faster, but the heart rate is close or above 170, and I must slow down. As in life, patience is a virtue. The same applies to running. If you push yourself beyond what is healthy, you risk injury or much worse. At my age, exercise is great in moderation.

Average HR 160 bpm
Maximum HR 177 bpm
Zone 5 79% of the run

I did mine. What exercise did you do today?

  1. Good job, Angela! I don’t know what the relationship is between your computer and mine, but today the volume on the videoclip at my end was MAX…couldn’t “adjust” it without cutting off your monologue completely, so I made do with your narrative. Computers frustrate me endlessly….
