Exercise: Did It!

Did it! I walked 6.19 miles today, and I feel fantastic! My goal was to do 5 miles, so I exceeded that.

Since two summers ago, I started wearing sunscreen on exposed areas of my upper body except for my face. Today I forgot it. I don’t particularly appreciate wearing it because it makes my sweat look white and sickly. I end up wiping it off on my running clothes. In the video, I discuss why dark-skinned Black people should wear sunscreen, especially if they are regularly out in the sun for extended periods.

Post-exercise BP 125/112; HR 98. I will recheck.
Average HR 140; maximum HR 165.
I was in zone 2, 3, or 4 for 96% of the walk.

As I mentioned yesterday, I ran out of medication because the PCP office sent the wrong dose to the pharmacy, so I just restarted. I will continue to monitor my blood pressure. Fortunately, I have no symptoms.

What exercise did you do today?
