Did It! I walked over 5 miles in an hour an half. It felt glorious to be out enjoying the day. I challenged myself to dream the impossible, and you know what I did. I also learned something about pain. It’s not always a bad thing when you exercise. The walk started with steadily increasing pain in my right hip and rising heart rate. When the pain started in the left leg, I felt a sense of relief because I knew it was a pain I could walk-out. By the end of the walk, I had no pain and simply joy and pleasure in knowing I did it!

I did mine. What exercise did you do today?
Wonderful! You’ve made my day, dear Angela!
(Surely you know the old truism: “No pain…no gain”….)
Ah, that’s great! So truth. No pain, no gain!
No pain, no gain? That depends on what kind of pain it is! For the rest it’s just mainstream babble, a.k.a. crap.
