Sunday’s Gratitude: I am a survivor Day 7

Thank God and the universe for carrying me when I couldn’t take another step. I am alive today because of God. I don’t know what God is. To me, God is energy that surrounds us and lives within each of us.

My life is not a bed of roses. It never was and probably never will be at this stage. I walked the grounds of hell, sometimes with enemies and the devil himself. On that note, the devil is a man and he’s white. (LOL).

Today I give thanks to the Lord who anointed my head with oil. My cup runneth over. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Being brought up Catholic and broken the shackles of guilt, I blocked everything about Catholicism and religion. However, Psalms 23.6 (?), The Lord Is My Shepherd, I have repeatedly recited in prayer since I was a little girl in Kingston, Jamaica.

Thank you, Lord. I could never have survived this long without your blessing. You enlightened me so I could find my way out of the darkness. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen

  1. Angela if you never read the entire Bible you should! God is spirit! He is the almighty spirit that created everything! He had no beginning and has no end. From everlasting to everlasting! I just except that because we just can’t comprehend it!
You should get the Bible on line and read as it is spoken to you. Skip Leviticus and Numbers for now.

    1. Your god, Mr Fields, is the one who, out of love for a bunch of assholes who were constantly breaking his rules, nailed his own son to a cross to die a gruesome death, so he could forgive those same assholes for their sins. How sick is that?

      1. Those assholes you mentioned won’t be saved if they don’t repent! I hope you believe and repent or your faith will be the lake of 🔥 also!
