Sunday’s Gratitude: I Smile Day 21

I smile even when nothing is amusing. I laugh too. The power of a smile is legendary. When you’re smiling, the whole world smiles with you. Smiling is therapeutic. It produces physiologic changes that make you feel good inside. Next time, you’re feeling lousy, smile.

‘Pops’ was right when you’re laughing, the sun comes shining through as your perspective brightens. But when you’re crying, you bring on the rain, anxiety, and worry. So smile and be happy again. It’ll change your thoughts. Remember, thoughts follow action. So keep smiling, and the whole world smiles with you.

When You’re Smiling by Louis Armstrong

Oh when you smilin’, when you smilin’

The whole world smiles with you

Yes when you laughin’, when you laughin’

Yes the sun come shinin’ through

But when you cryin’ you bring on the rain

So stop your sighin’ baby and be happy again

Yes and keep on smilin, keep on smilin’

And the whole world smiles with you

  1. Angela I brought the cds Jazz by Ken Burns. I love it and everyone one loves Pops! Not only because he is/was the greatest trumpet player of all time but a beautiful personality with a big smile!
