Healthy Life Exercise: Did It!

Did It! I walked about 4 miles on the treadmill. It felt fantastic!

Considering how I started the day, I had to pat myself on the back for exercising. I didn’t feel like exercising today. But I went to the gym anyway. Going to the gym is an excellent motivator to exercise. Seeing all those buffed men pumping iron made me determined to stay longer than 10 minutes. Had the gym been less crowded, I would have done weight training. I want to ease into it when I get the all-clear signal from the physical therapist.

While I enjoy sightseeing at the gym, walking on the treadmill for an hour could be more exciting, so I break the hour into 20 minutes segments. I didn’t run today but worked the incline and kept my heart rate below 155. Exercise is hard work. It’s up to you to spice it up and remember how great it feels once you do it.

I did mine. What exercise did you do today?
