Gaza in Darkness: Israel’s Genocide Campaign Continues

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women) to do nothing. -Edmond Burke

“Nearly half of Gaza’s residents are under the age of 16, and 65% are under the age of 25, effectively meaning that Palestinian children are bearing the brunt of the Israeli government’s collective punishment.” (Moveon.org)

Based on the latest death toll of over 7000, almost one in two were children. Nearly 50% of those targeted by Israeli precision weaponry were children. Let that sink in.

There is no justification for depriving besieged people of food, water, electricity, and fuel. There is no justification for waging war on children. There is no justification for an intentional communication blackout on people already suffering. That is the war Israel is waging against Palestinians. Israel bombs hospitals and homes and then claims they are Hamas headquarters. However, the body count shows almost one in two dead are children, so one has to question Israel’s claims.

Israel does not have to continue killing innocent Palestinian children and women. It’s rumored that after destroying Gaza and killing its women and children, Israel will force Palestinians to pay for the war.

It’s hard to trust Israel because its leader is a racist and says things similar to Hitler. How can anyone ally with such a leader? How can any country support Israel’s campaign?

We need a ceasefire. An ally does not commit atrocities or support the killings of innocent women and children. It has to stop! Over 66% of Americans support a ceasefire, and over 80% of Democrats support a ceasefire, so why is Biden ignoring us?
