So much division and violence in the world today. I guess that has always been the case throughout history. The difference is we are more knowledgeable than our ancestors. We know despite the differences in the color of our skins, we all belong to the human race.
Race is a social construct created by behavioral scientists to study different groups. Such knowledge may shock you, but race is not genetic. In other words, there is no Black or African gene, no Asian gene, no Native American gene, no Anglo-Saxon white gene or Latino gene. Civilization began in Africa, the racial differences we see among each other are due to geographic differences and are not genetic.
Many do not believe or even know of this. I recall an anecdotal study where a racially diverse class had DNA samples of their students analyzed. The findings were astonishing to the students. One would think black people are more closely related to each other than to other racial groups and the same for Asians and whites. But that was not the finding. It turned out you could not predict based on phenotype. A black female student was just as likely to find her genes more closely related to that of a white male than her black classmates. Race did not predict the relationship between genotypes.
Unfortunately, US history is tainted, and myths have become facts in the minds of the ignorant. We have kids, mostly white males who believe the white race is under attack and at risk of genocide. They blame people of color for their problems and believe violence is the only solution to save the white race from extinction. So they go out and randomly murder innocent people and children in public places to induce fear and become infamous. Later, they may even get a book deal or a movie.
According to reports, there were 18 high school shootings so far this year, about one mass shooting a week, most committed by men, white men spewing racist jargon they picked up on Fox News and the over 900 protected terrorist white supremacist groups in the US.
Ironically, many of these groups are pro-life and vehemently declare “All Lives Matter.” But all lives cannot matter until Black Lives Matter. These terrorist white supremacist groups don’t see or care to understand. These groups, as well as many whites, take offense at the thought that Black Lives Matter. Think about that for a moment.
Why do white men get away with murder? At least that is the opinion of many people of color. Seems every other ethnic group or organization is heavily surveilled by the US government and labeled a threat except white terrorist groups euphemistically called hate groups. Our society downplays their terrorism, calling it hate or mental illness. While gun control is important, objectivity, consistency in enforcement and interpretation of the law and justice are more important. At the moment, white men are rewarded for murder.
Lord, help us to appreciate our differences as well as our shared values and ancient ancestry. Let us look to nature as a model of diversity. And marvel at how seamlessly and beautifully nature accommodates. It’s time we move beyond race and ascend to a higher level of thought that brings us together as one human race. A race that values the lives of our children, our loved ones and each other.
Below are two videos. The first video is short and touches on the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida where 17 people were murdered. The last video is a classic– Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes Experiment by Jane Elliott
A recent conversation came to mind as I watched and listened to the video. All day could be spent pointing out different communication styles, cultural differences, the lack guns or violent threats, but that is off-topic.
More white people kill white people, and more black people kill black people. You are more likely to be killed by someone you know, and that is a fact. Most white people know white people and live among white people and most black people know black people and live among black people. Naturally, there are black on black crimes, as there are white and white crimes (domestic abuse, serial murderers, homicides and suicides) . Crimes are violent in any complexion.
In addition, data require understanding context to provide reliable interpretations that are meaningful as well as accurate. Pointing out black on black crime for the purpose of feeding stereotypes, detracts from focusing on police violence against black and brown folks as well as solutions.
Furthermore, when anglo-values are the contexts used to interpret data (findings), data validity and integrity become suspect. Black people and all non-white cultures are judged by anglo-values and not their unique values. Why is that? And why does that make a difference?
I believe Golden Lady’s anger colored her perspectives and in a discussion she might also accuse me of being white. Similar to anger, anglo-values color interpretations.
Golden Lady voiced feelings of darker pigmented black people who are the very bottom of the barrel based on anglo-values of society, including black communities. Remember, what other people think about you is NONE of your business!
Resentment builds over time when the focus is on what others think, instead of your own thoughts, gratitudes and future. Pigmented debates lead to further resentment and isolation, creating fragmentation and division within the black community. The end-result is STRESS with NO RELIEF, leaving us bitter or abandoning our cultures.
There is a world full of diverse people….In choosing opportunities, remember some like it hot; some like it cold and some like in the middle. Find people who like it YOUR way; stop worrying about the others who don’t.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.– Albert Einstein
The black-white poverty gap has widened over the last decade and the poverty rate among blacks is no longer declining. The black-white disparity in incarceration rates today is larger than it was in 1960.
And the black unemployment rate has, on average, been twice as high as the white rate for five decades. In fact, black America has long been stuck in a severe recession. Between 1963 and 2012, annual black unemployment averaged 11.6%, while the average annual national unemployment rate during recessions over the same period was only 6.7%.Continue reading “Why liberals should stop trying to ‘help’ black Americans”
Linked is a business social media site. Shortly after publishing a post about police brutality and Affluenza, I was locked out of MY linkedIn account without the courtesy or professionalism I came to expect from businesses with top notch customer relation management.
Without explanation LinkedIn prevented access to my emails, contact lists and notes. Two to three emails later in which I requested access to my account I received the email below. That email remains the only response from LI.
Over the last year, I went from 30 to over 2000 connections on LinkedIn. Apparently, my profile is still very active only change is: it is no longer my profile ..it is LinkedIn impersonation of my profile.
In addition, people previously blocked from contact now have carte Blanche access to my profile and I do not.
Let us listen to their conversation about police brutality, violence and terrorist activities against black people. This could be a real learning experience.
First, the three white males are responding to following image : Don’t shoot! I want to grow up.
BTW, their responses are vanilla cloned for those recipients of white privilege–coded responses, effective labeling and control of cognitive dissonance among privileged white males.
Doug Arnoldt ( LION 2,700+ ) commented on your photo:
“Indeed that is so very true , but killing there own , little kids , same color , etc. drive by shootings, guns , gangs, dumbass’s ! The little ones die for the idiot’s that wanna be tough ass holes ! It makes no fricken sense to me ! How can it to anyone else ! They are killing each other is that racism ???? Nope that is fricken Stupidty !!!!!!!!!!!!!! “
Me: Did he miss the point as do many of his kind? But note how he feigns concern only to label and insult black children.
Robert Gracia commented on your photo:
“You would be right Mr. Pinder, the 90% you are referring to are by definition criminals which are classified as such not for their race but rather because they think the laws do not apply to them and there for refuse to follow them. Once again the issue is not about race or guns but about people making excuses and pointing fingers rather then taking responsibility and being productive members of our society”
Me: I blocked this member from contact. Frankly, I do not like him….he scares me. I would only meet him armed and with bodyguards. However, LinkedIn, a business social media site is unconcerned about my safety or my individual rights guaranteed under our constitutional republic. LinkedIn is no model for business…it is everything that makes the workplace frustrating, stressful and DANGEROUS!
Me: This white male has no clue, and I am scared of him. LinkedIn endangered my life as I blocked this person who still stalks.
Jonathan Williams commented on your photo:
“Wow, yeah let’s fight racism with racism. Makes sense. Be the change you wish to see. Funny no matter how educated someone can be, they are still as ignorant as can be. “
Me A racist can never see any farther than his nose.
Doug Arnoldt ( LION 2,700+ ) commented on your photo:
“Considering the homicides in African American Areas ! Who should start first ??”
Me: Stats are manipulated….I no longer trust any data if it goes against common sense and my observations. Most black people in jails are innocent and as videos keep coming in we get confirmation that this should be investigated further.
This image with a brief caption generated the above comments from three LinkedIN members, one of which I blocked from all contact. Why was he able to contact me? IMO, these men have no compassion or empathy for people of color, similiar mindset to abusive police and correctional officers, corrupt judges, prosecutors and public defenders. These are dangerous people. And these are the comments LinkedIn sent me. There are more comments but I can’t see them.
Claude Boulet commented on your photo:
“PLEASE SHOUT, we want all of our children to grow up. I am 100% with you on this Angela. Dogma is a word that comes too mind. Really its time for people to admit the hidden truths, that is the best education and cure. I think the requirement for turn around is too minimize crime itself or a certain type of crime. The law is tainted by race or region, but really how can it be changed? I want to walk with a feeling of security too just like you.”
Me: Claude Boulet gets it!
Several questions for LinkedIn as this post will form the basis of my official complaint to the appropriate authorities–who will do absolutely nothing.
1. Why did LinkedIn lock my account without warning or explanation? I suspect a complaint originated from the first three fellows.
2. Does LinkedIn not feel an obligation to honor one’s privacy, especially when I blocked ALL contact with Robert Garcia.
Why are stalkers allowed access to my profile? And why did I receive emails from a male I fear?
As I do not have access to my profile I cannot say with certainly that all three were blocked; now that LinkedIn hacked my account I will never know.
3. Their remarks are offensive and insulting to people of color. I am deeply offended. However, Linked-In allowed someone I fear to continually make offensive comments and terrify me. Why was I blocked for offensive comments and they were not? Old boys network??? And no concern for my safety from Linked-In.
4. Why hasn’t anyone complained about their offensive remarks? Perhaps those who complained were ignored by Linked-In as I was. I believe LinkedIn and Donald Sperling are one of a kind.
5. If LinkedIn wants my business I expect respect and customer service. I do not care if LinkedIn does this to others, it still does not make it right or good business.
6. Why does LinkedIn not value my business?
Linked-In Response. — others have access to my profile, people I blocked from viewing my profile or communication contact because of stalking concerns. I wonder are those fellows the ones who complained and what is their relationship with Linked-in
Further, it is not OK to use LinkedIn’s services to threaten violence or property damage, or for hate speech acts, such as attacking people because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, political or religious affiliations, or medical or physical condition.
Your LinkedIn account has been suspended, pending your response stating that you’ll adhere to LinkedIn policies from this day forward.

Why has my account been restricted? What is going on?
This is the LI post that resulted in a locked account without warning. How inconvenient to not have access to one’s business contacts? I suggest LI users look elsewhere for reliable service. An anonymous idiot could be justification for LI to lock your account and read your emails. Is that okay with YOU?
This is awful and it is genocide. The number of Black people are decreasing in this country….and no one is noticing. We are being slowly murdered by our own but mostly by white people. The laws are crafted to traps blacks esp those who are mentally ill and learning disabled.
Fantastic article that I will reblog. Thank you. -Angela
Last month, previously unknown details were brought to light regarding the suspicious circumstances surrounding the untimely death of 39 year-old Bradley Ballard, who died an inmate at New York’s notorious Rikers Island “Correctional” Facility. Though Ballard, whom doctors determined was mentally ill, died back in September, 2013, Rikers Island wasn’t exactly forthcoming about the circumstances leading to his death. Unfortunately, what happened to Ballard could almost be described as a regular occurrence at the Rikers Facility, where an astounding 40% of all inmates struggle with mental illness and are frequently exposed to abuse and neglect at the hands of staff members. A mere five months after conditions at Rikers resulted in Ballard’s tragic death, a distraught and homeless United States Army veteran named Jerome Murdough suffocated to death in a cell that was heated at more than 101°.
