Are you emotional or stoic?

Love and hate; pretty and ugly; dark and light –without one the other would not exist. Emotions are real—good or bad — and necessary to grow, evolve and to communicate with each other.

Emotions are universal. Anger is just as important as happiness yet we avoid the former and that negates achieving the latter. The ‘right’ balance is profoundly personal, dynamic and cultural.

God is emotional. His wrath is worse than our anger. His need for control buried in rules dictated by various religions. A theologian once told me the Bible represents our limited knowledge base. The God of our Bible exists only on paper and in our minds. He used the term heuristic. Look it up….not easy to comprehend but says it all.

My point is: embrace all emotions, feel their energies, learn to deploy them like troops on a mission. God does. Emotions are life forces of energy connecting us to each other and rest of the world. Said differently, harmony with nature starts with acknowledging feelings.

Are you emotional or stoic?
