There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time. – Malcolm X
Next time you feel defeated think about this quote. Go to the balcony, process the full picture and find the opportunities for self-growth as well as improved performance beneath those feelings of failure.
That is it!
Cordial regards
You do that? You go to your balcony and……….
If so, tell me what happened next. Not in an abstract from, but literally. Can you do that?
I take 6 deep breathes. Sometimes I listen to music sometimes I read or sometimes I masturbate. Anything to relax, masturbation works best. Almost like magic my attitude changes and I see things differently.
And does that “improve your performance the next time”? 😎
Certainly does and opens up new galaxies. 😀
Re M X: So what “we” need is more adversity, lots of it, and after that even more, and more, and more adversity?
By Lilith, how could I be so wrong, always trying to prevent adversity. I’m against war, against corruption, against manipulation, against fraud, against racism, against obeying people in power, against……..ah my list is endless. Damn, I have to relearn, and support all the crap I hate so much, as all that filth is actually great stuff, helping me to grow, to become a better person, and to make the world a better place for all. Yes, I should make it my goal, my purpose of life, to bring more adversity to the world, more war, more bloodshed, more swindle, more rape, more……..ah, let’s find out what else could serve to get more adversity in place. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!
Ahhh an extremist!
But why intentionally subject oneself to adversity? It’s painful!
Going to the balcony hopefully will prevent future adversity.
“There is no better than adversity.” That’s what you quoted. So if there’s nothing better, how come “we” shouldn’t go for it?
When things are taken out of context they lose their meaning, you just proved that.
Yup, that’s mostly said when one can’t handle the truth.
LOL really? You mean your perceptions of the truth 😀
There’s only one truth: Mine.
Btw, how come you’re such an early bird, already typing at 7 am?
Can’t sleep
