Exercise: Did It!

View from elliptical

I did it! Did the elliptical for 45 minutes. I planned to start with upper body weights, but they were already two people working with weights. I felt fantastic throughout the workout despite a higher than usual heart rate.

Average HR 147; Maximum HR 161. About 53% of the workout was in zone 4 and about 15% in zone 5 (anaerobic metabolism).
Post-workout: BP 123/96 HR 92. The diastolic was high. I need to monitor my BP more closely. I believe the elevation was from medication.

I am so glad to be able to move around and exercise. What exercise did you do today?

Addendum:   Once again, the TV was on Newsmax. Every time I looked in that direction, there was some lie glaring across the ticker. After I finished my workout, I went to the office and had the TV turned off. It turned out there was no battery in the remote.

  1. Good job with the elliptical and other workouts. It’s definitely true that it can be good just getting out of the house to do something even though it can be tougher with certain places being closed down due to COVID-19. That situation with the TV in the gym and the remote sounds a bit suspicious how there would be no battery there.
