Exercise: Did It!

Did it! I exercised at home for 20 minutes by doing squats, lunges, abdominals, and upper body. While feeling great, I am tired. My body needs the ‘pep’ pill that raised my blood pressure.

Pre-activity BP 128/92 P64; Post-exercise BP 129/89 P110. I did not record.

What exercise did you do today?

  1. Sounds like a good day with exercising and reading. I’ve certainly been getting back into reading since I have some ebooks I haven’t read yet and I got an atlas book for Christmas with references to cultural heritage sites around the world.

      1. Happy New Year, Angela! It was a great gift especially since I like geography. The information gets pretty technical with the peaks, valleys, terrain, and random history. For example, I didn’t know until I read the North America section that St. Kitts & Nevis was the “youngest” country from an independence standpoint since it became it’s own country in 1983.

I’m still going through the book, but they refer to protected landmarks like the Taj Mahal and Machu Picchu for example. There were some interesting places that were shown in different continents. Some of the ones in North America that I didn’t know about were the Blue and John Crow Mountains in Jamaica, Cocos Island in Costa Rica, and Tikal National Park in Guatemala for example.
